Patna: BJP MP Chedi Paswan from Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sasaram on Monday slammed Nitish Kumar. He said that let alone Lalu Prasad, Nitish Kumar could also join hands with Dawood Ibrahim to become the Chief Minister. The BJP leader went so far as to say that the formula for power-sharing in Bihar should be changed. Now the two and a half year formula should be decided.

‘Party made big mistake by making Nitish CM’
The BJP MP said that the party had made a big mistake by making Nitish Kumar the chief minister. In Delhi on Monday, he said that Nitish Kumar was raising controversial issues to blackmail and bargain with the BJP. The central government has made it clear that this is not possible on the basis of caste, but the allied JDU is demanding it. He said efforts were being made to negotiate with the BJP even on special category status.

‘Stop talking about Lalu … Nitish can shake hands with Dawood too’
The MP clarified that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a special package then why there is talk of special status. Calling the decision to contest the Assembly elections with the JDU a mistake, the BJP leader said it was a mistake and the BJP should have fought the elections alone. He said that let alone Lalu Prasad, Nitish Kumar could also join hands with Dawood Ibrahim to become the Chief Minister.

Prohibition of alcohol in Bihar completely failed: Chedi Paswan
Describing the ban on alcohol in Bihar as a complete failure, Chhedi Paswan said that alcohol was being sold everywhere. Advising to change the power-sharing formula, he said the formula for staying in power for two and a half years should be decided now. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should step down after two and a half years and remain the BJP chief minister for the remaining two and a half years.
