Order to open schools in the state from January 24
The education department of the Maharashtra government has issued an order to open schools in all the districts of the state from January 24. In fact, parents have long demanded that schools be reopened. A proposal in this regard was also sent to the Chief Minister in the Education Department following the growing demand for continuous school opening. On which the Chief Minister affixed his seal of approval on Thursday.

Where will the schools open?
Although the Maharashtra government has given permission to open schools, it has set some conditions. The government has only allowed schools to open in districts or areas where Corona cases are below average. In addition, the decision to open schools will rest entirely with the local administration i.e. the metropolitan municipality, the municipality, the district council. In these places, the administrative authorities will decide which places to open schools in their area. Schools will not be opened in Pune and Aurangabad districts as the number of Koro patients has not decreased.

What are the rules?
With the opening of the school, the Maharashtra government has also appealed to the authorities not to force the children to go to school. Children need the consent of their parents before being taken to school. Parents should be allowed to come to school only if they want to send their children to school voluntarily.

Apart from this it is mandatory for teachers and other school staff to take both doses of Corona vaccine. In addition, education officials, along with administrative officials, should arrange for children between the ages of 15 and 18 to be vaccinated at school. Not only that, the school authorities will be obliged to take all necessary and precautionary measures before opening the school. The report of which will have to be given to the senior officers.
