Patna: The 73rd Republic Day celebrations were held peacefully in various districts of Bihar. Special preparations were made for the flag salute. Corona’s guidelines were carefully followed from school to the grounds. However, in some places its compliance was negligible. At the same time, a child was killed in an accident while waving a flag in Buxar.

Accident at Buxar School
The accident took place at Nathpur Primary School in Itadi block of Buxar on the occasion of Republic Day. A 10-year-old boy has died after being hit by a high-tension wire during a flag salute. At the same time, three people were injured. Among the injured are two children who are undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital. At the same time, relatives of the deceased, annoyed by the incident, blocked the Itadi-Nathpur road. The power company was accused of negligence. The accident happened when a flag pipe was being laid at the school.

Gaya and proudly waved the tricolor in Kaimur
In Gaya, the Magadha Divisional Commissioner hoisted the flag. IG Amit Lodha, Gaya SSP Aditya Kumar, City SP Rakesh Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner Suman Kumar were present on the occasion. A tableau was also unveiled on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day. At the same time, following Corona’s guideline, Bhabua hoisted the tricolor at Jagjivan Stadium. Flag salute at the Red Fort of Darbhanga
On the 73rd Republic Day, the tricolor was proudly hoisted at the historic Darbhanga Raj Fort, 9 feet above the Red Fort in Delhi. It is also called the Red Fort of Bihar. People from far and wide in the city watched the flag salute. The flag was hoisted by Kumar Kapileshwar Singh, grandson of Sir Kameshwar Singh, the last Maharaja of Darbhanga Raj. He wished the people of Mithila a happy Republic Day. Declared protection of historical heritage of Darbhanga and Rajnagar. He said that his grandfather Maharaja Sir Kameshwar Singh was waving the flag at this royal fort. This tradition ended after his death, which he resumed two years ago.
Program at Minj Stadium, Gopalganj
The main event on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day was held at Minj Stadium in Gopalganj. On the occasion, State Drug Excise and Registration Minister Sunil Kumar also extended his best wishes to the people of Gopalganj as well as the state. DM Naval Kishore Chaudhary saluted the tricolor. MP Dr. Alok Kumar Suman and other people’s representatives were also present on the occasion. The Republic Day program paid close attention to the protocol.
