RJD state president Jagdanand Singh said in a statement that former Harsiddhi MLA Maheshwar Singh was asked to campaign in favor of the party’s official candidate in the local body elections, but Maheshwar Singh acted against the party’s discipline. Leader of Opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav has also termed it as undisciplined. According to him, Maheshwar Singh is involved in anti-party activities. Due to which Maheshwar Singh has been expelled from RJD for 6 years.
After the announcement of the name of the candidate, the rebels came forward! Elections have been announced for 24 seats of Bihar Legislative Council. RJD has announced the names of its candidates for 23 seats. This time, the RJD has split from the Congress and joined hands with the CPI. There are 23 RJD and 1 CPI candidates in the fray in the Assembly elections. With the announcement of the names of the candidates, many rebels have come out openly. The RJD leadership is preparing to remove his wife from the Madhub seat of the Legislative Council. Therefore, former MLA Gulab Yadav has also been expelled from the party.
